If you’re planning on using your own modem with Vodafone nbn™, it’s essential that you verify that your own modem is compatible with nbn™ technology used at your address. Vodafone will only be able to provide general support on your service. For technical support related to your modem you’ll need to contact the modem manufacturer directly.

Check if the nbn™ technology used at your address is FTTN, FTTB or FTTC. If it is, then your BYO modem will need to be VDSL2 compatible. Review your modem device guide to see if your modem supports IPoE authentication and is VDSL2 compatible.
